Even things built to last will eventually fall to time. My original composition was horizontal, but this vertical one shows my modeling/texturing a little better. Modeled in 3DSM, eroded in zBrush, rendered in Lightwave, post in PS. I had lots of fun doodling the erosion, but it's taken me a couple of passes to get the texturing so that it is interesting on the non-eroded area but doesn't obscure all the zbrush work. Lighting could be a bit stronger / more directional.
